Regulator Overhaul (Sunday Business Post) [PIBA release]

  PIBA has called for an overhaul of the Financial Regulator’s office saying that the entire board should be replaced.

 

“Jack FitzPatrick, chairman of the PIBA, said the office had proved to be “entirely unfit” for its purpose.

 

"Not only has the office failed to regulate the banks, but it has over-regulated small independent intermediaries which typically do not handle cash,” he said.
